• 1 pkt (200 gram) Puff pasty, defrosted
  • 3 gram chili powder
  • 80 gram Parmesan, grated
  • 1 egg

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 C.

Roll out puff pastry to desired thickness, about 1/2 cm. Take egg and mix with whisk until well mixed. With pastry brush, spread over rolled out pastry sheet. Sprinkle chili powder and grated Parmesan cheese only over half of the pastry. Fold non covered pastry over covered side and press lightly. Roll out again with rolling pins to 3 mm thickness. Cut with sharp kbife or ideally with a pizza roller cutter into 1 1/2 cm strips. Grap each end of a strip and roll over into opposite directions, till you can see the spiral design of the pastry and the filling.  Place on grease proof covered trays and let rest for 15 minutes.

Then bake at 180 C. till golden brown and crisp, approx. 8-10 minutes. Let cool and serve with drinks or part of a starter.
