• 200 g Butter
  • 320 g Sugar
  • 250 g Eggs/5 Eggs
  • 3 Oranges for Orange Zest
  • 180 g Sour Cream
  • 250 g Flour
  • 8 g Baking Powder
  • For Syrup:
  • 250 ml Orange Jucie
  • 80 g Sugar (Add a little water to make sugar syrup)

Method:

Prepare the cake rings with butter paper under and polishing the sides with butter.

Bring the  butter and sugar together and beat it well in a mixture

Add orange zest in the mixture

Add in eggs one at a time

When the mixture is ready, pour it in the cake ring

Bake at 175ºC

Pour the syrup on the hot cake

When cooled, remove the cake ring.

Note: Before serving, brush the cake with apricot gel.

Press and apply almonds flakes on the sides of the cake.

Whipped cream on the top (Optional)

Serve it with a nice slice of orange.
